222nm Far UV Disinfection* Wand for Commercial Applications
With technology developed by Boeing, the Krypton-PLUS handheld wand helps prevent the spread of bacteria and pathogens by disinfecting high-touch surfaces. The krypton-PLUS Mobile wand is portable and lightweight. The high-power wand is capable of disinfecting surfaces in as little as 3 seconds. It features a momentary power switch to help change disinfection* target locations quickly and efficiently.
The 222nm light source reaches full power instantly without any delays. The Krypton-PLUS wand is an ideal tool for fast and effective cleaning of sensitive electronic devices or surfaces such as airplane cockpits as well as areas in need of decontamination.
Operation and Safety
The wand should be used 4” from a target surface. A swiping motion should be used at a rate of approximately 1 ft/sec. This motion should be repeated three times to achieve maximum disinfection.* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be used while operating the device.
