AeroMed and Far UV continue to provide urgent and sustainable domestic health equity solutions through improved indoor air quality. Together, with the Homeless Alliance, they care for people experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City and are helping to keep them safer.

Homeless Alliance Equipped with Air-Cleaning Devices Ahead of Winter Shelter Opening

Far UV and AeroMed installs Upper Room Germicidal UVC devices in the winter shelter, in August 2024.

“As we gear up for another winter season, we are so grateful for the contributions of businesses like AeroMed and Far UV. Homelessness may be a complicated issue, but we believe that the needle can be moved if everyone in the community does their part! Thank you so much for your partnership as we work towards opening our Winter Shelter for another season this fall,” Taylor Self, Homeless Alliance communication officer, said.

Adding AeroMed’s unique higher performance UVC lights to the winter shelter allows the spaces to be continuously treated for viruses, bacteria, mold, and allergens in the air. It makes the air healthier to breathe and prevents person-to-person transmission of airborne illnesses.
